The Problem
Your F&I office has more potential than it's using.
Most dealers know there's opportunity in F&I. What they can't pin down is the root cause. It isn't effort. It's process, consistency, and coaching.
What we find on day one: no established process, business managers presenting products as optional add-ons instead of ownership solutions, penetration that swings wildly from one manager to the next, menus that aren't being utilized, and compliance exposure from process deviations that nobody is tracking.
New business managers who've never received structured F&I training are running deals. Sales-to-F&I turnover is hurting CSI. KPI accountability is missing. And nobody has the time — or the playbook — to fix it from the inside.
VMG has been inside hundreds of F&I offices across Automotive and RV dealerships. We know exactly where the money is being left on the table — and we've built a proprietary process to go get it.
How We Work
Four areas where VMG moves the needle.
01 · The Proprietary Menu Process
F&I stops depending on who's in the office.
A phrases-based menu process — not word tracks — built over 27 years of F&I work and not available anywhere else. Every product, every customer, every time. Consistent presentation is where penetration is won or lost.
03 · Individualized Development Plans
Development your people actually buy into, because it was built around them.
We coach the individual, not just the dealership. Every business manager gets a development plan built around their strengths and opportunities — so they understand the why behind the process and own the result.
02 · Solo Sessions
Your managers get better every single week — not once a year at a workshop.
One-on-one coaching with each business manager — reviewing live deals, role-playing objections, working through current challenges, and building action plans tailored to the individual. The differentiator that turns training into ongoing development.
04 · KPI Accountability
Problems get caught every week instead of every quarter.
Continuous accountability through KPI tracking and follow-up between sessions. Managers can reach out for support any time — and we measure success six months in, not six days after training ends.
The VMG Differentiator
Solo Sessions: simple, fast, and built to compound.
A simple, easy, fast process that — done correctly — guarantees success. Solo Sessions are one-on-one coaching engagements designed for business managers who want to improve deliberately, not accidentally. Every session is built around the individual's deals, their numbers, and their next move.
During the session
Review the deal log. Identify the opportunity.
We sit with the manager, pull recent deals — won and lost — and walk through the decisions. Where did the menu work? Where did it stall? What objection wasn't met? Every Solo Session starts with real numbers from this week, not theory.
Mid-session
Role-play the objection. Build the rebuttal.
The objection you didn't have a response to on Tuesday — we rehearse it Wednesday. By Thursday, the manager has phrasing that fits their voice and a rebuttal that doesn't sound rehearsed. The room changes the next time it comes up.
Action items
Clear next steps. KPI focus. Personalized feedback.
Every session ends with three things: a clear action item for the next 7 days, a specific KPI to move, and personalized feedback the manager can act on Monday morning. No homework. No abstract frameworks. One change, measured.
Between sessions
A coach on speed dial. Accountability that holds.
Solo Sessions don't end when the call does. Managers can reach out to their coach any time a deal goes sideways — and they do. That trusted-resource layer is what separates ongoing development from one-time training.
The standout result: a business manager working with VMG took CPVR from $147 to $1,102 — a $955 lift per vehicle, sustained — by working the Solo Session cadence every week. The strategies, coaching, and tools land when the manager commits to the process. The numbers follow.

VMG works with some of the largest automotive groups in the country — and every independent dealer on a single lot. The process works at every scale.
"Reviewing deals with another set of eyes — whether the deal was successful or unsuccessful — gives you perspectives you may not have thought of, helps with a rebuttal that didn't come to mind, or just helps you not feel completely discouraged by the interaction. No matter the question, issue, or concern I've had, someone at Vision has been able to provide an answer or solution."
